Hi Olly I have set the minimum preparation time for 60 minutes yet all time slots are still showing as available when placing an order. Therefore a customer could therhetically place an order at 8pm wanting it for 8:15pm or 7:45pm.

STOP…..CACHING…..YOUR…..ORDER…….PAGE
(that’s not to say that that actually causes the behaviour you are describing – though it might – but it most certainly will cause all sorts of other issues)

13 March, 2015 at 8:34 am #8377AH christ now my coupon codes aren’t working either… Help me lol.

yes: STOP…..CACHING…..YOUR…..ORDER…….PAGE13 March, 2015 at 9:13 am #8380Yes i’ve excluded it now! But there has been some damage caused already – is there anyway for me to rectify these problems?

like what ? turning cache on/off should not make any difference (other than showing stuff that should not be shown and viceversa)
13 March, 2015 at 6:05 pm #8400I just checked again the only thing not working is being able to choose the right time – I thought maybe the coupons weren’t working but they are I didn’t realise they were case-sensitive. Is there anyway for me to fix the time slots?

http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Oswald
should be either
https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Oswald
or just
//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Oswald(and why are you loading it 2x anyway ?)
13 March, 2015 at 6:53 pm #8404That’s not me loading the insecure content that is the theme setting as is from the maker that also has it loading twice – but i’ll fix it thanks for the heads up my browser showed all content as secure for some reason and the timezone didn’t realise you have to set it in another location other location other than inside wordpress.

i’m aware of that> timezone didn’t realise you have to set it in another location
most of the time it’s fine without setting it and wordpress uses its own internal calculation.
however, wordpress transients (that’s what the preorder thing uses to cache things) depend on that setting . if you just want something to expire in 4 hours , its fine either way, but if you calculate expiry time to be at 5PM for example from now , it goes awol (as 5PM server time !=5PM wordpress time if the 2 aren’t the same)13 March, 2015 at 8:39 pm #8406Thanks as always Olly i’ll try and sort it this weekend.
23 March, 2015 at 3:52 pm #8649I have fixed unsecured content and I’m trying to fix time zone but I got this reply – so I’m guessing the pre-order extension will have problems when the time change by an hour?

only if you have the caching enabled. just uncheck that box in preorder->options and you should be fine (just slows things down a bit)
23 March, 2015 at 4:11 pm #8651No problem – I disabled it anyways as I was getting the previous issue as before where I could choose any timeslot – I haven’t cache the webpage.
