Hey Olly,
I hate to be a continue bother on this subject, but I have tried wp super cache and w3 total cache and with each installation the shopping cart fails. I have tended to the settings on both caching plugins and specifically set it up so that the order page is not cached. I don’t know what to do. I am totally flummoxed. Just totally dead in the water.
I need to figure this out or I can’t move forward to buying pay pal, or delivery by zip. Would you suggest that I just leave the caching system off all together. That seems like a pretty risky way to do this, but I just don’t know what to do next.
I’m I the only person who is having this problem? I’m sure that others have installed this and are using it without the problems I am having. I know you are too busy to tend to all of my little issues, but maybe you can let me know one of your customers who is using this without the problems I am having. Maybe they can walk me through this caching problem so that I can get this going. Maybe someone in the US who has this working and can give me a tip or two.
thanks again,
John
21 August, 2014 at 6:48 pm #4761or just send/give me admin access to your site and i’ll have a look …….
(there are many people that us this plugin with caching, so there appears to be something else going on perhaps ???)
I’m happy to have a look at least
PS: for starters just a link to the site might be enough without any admin access.
if i dont have either of the two, there isn’t really much i can do/suggest21 August, 2014 at 7:02 pm #4762incidentally, i just installed “wp super cache” here locally which I have absolutely never ever used before, and it took about 2 minutes to get this working…..
something isn’t right your end….
21 August, 2014 at 7:23 pm #4763I am sure I am doing something wrong. I can’t figure it out. I am using a themeforest theme called Delicieux. I have tried to get themeforest to help out but I guess they are a little busy to get back to me. Anyway, wppizza etc. is working great with this theme until I install a caching plugin. I am sure I am the source of the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

>Would you suggest that I just leave the caching system off all together.
if you want, sure, but I wouldn’t really suggest it as such . I’m all for caching things as it makes the world a better place…:)
>That seems like a pretty risky way to do this
nothing “risky” about not caching things i would have thought, life’s just better/faster with it
21 August, 2014 at 7:32 pm #4765I’m going to send you the admin access now….via the email address you sent me via dev[at]wp-pizza.com
22 August, 2014 at 10:16 pm #4792It is working very well. I’ll keep testing it and let you know if that changes, but for now, it is working like it’s supposed to.
