Hi Olly,
it’s me again.I dunno how and when it did happen, but today I found out that the content (AGB, personal information, payment method, order details) on the last checkout page is doubled. And I dunno where I can delete the double content. I just tried to find out where this could be inserted (alà database or something else) but I have no idea.
Maybe you know where I can delete it.
(btw your page+forum+wiki is sometimes offline, cloudflare says that the host is not reachable alot of times and the load time is nearly over a minute for every page)

16 October, 2019 at 1:54 am #45117Okay after a few tests I found the following out.
When you register on the page (during the ordering process) everything works fine.
When you try a second order after you logged in and you come to the last checkout page, the content it doubled.
And when you do a third order, then the checkout pages triples the content and so on.Wow…I dunno how to fix this. xD
16 October, 2019 at 2:02 am #45118And I fixxed it.
But I think this could be a bug.
What did I do?
I deleted the shortcode > [wppizza type=’orderhistory’] < from the checkout page.
It seems that this shortcode does this effect. But I cannot clearly say since when.
The last 2 months I got only 3 updates of you wppizza plugin and no other.Should I activate it for you again? + you would need to register and try it out.

the shortcode[wppizza type=orderhistory]
is really designed to be on its own page.
that said, i can somewhat see why one might perhaps want this to be on the orderpage too (though generally – in myopinion only though admittedly – once a customer is on the orderpage I am not sure if it’s such a great idea to confuse the customer with more stuff on the page that might stop him/her from completing the order right there and then . again, just my 2 cents)In any event, i’ll see what i can do. it will have something to do with some ajax call executing multiple times, my guess being you get 3 times that page if you had 3 previous orders, 4 times if you had 4 previous orders and so on
Cannot give you an ETA though right now when (or even if) this will be doable I’m afraid
16 October, 2019 at 2:33 am #45121Hmm wow, I wonder why I didn’t saw this before. (maybe I clean up every time my tests too fast lol)
But it’s good to know the point with the single page. I guess I will set this up. Thank you here too.
I know what you mean by confusing the customers, but the German ones are the weirdest, especially for such kinds of things.Take your time, when you got a solution here. 🙂

Vesaros ~16 October, 2019 at 2:34 am #45122This reply has been marked as private.16 October, 2019 at 2:46 am #45123having had a quick test here, i get the same result (i.e multiple checkout pages if using that shortcode on the order page)
as – in large parts and for consistency – that particular shortcode uses the same coding as the actual orderpage I really do not know if this is doable, but i’ll give it a go but as mentioned I cannot tell you when or if this will be possible I’m afraid…16 October, 2019 at 3:34 am #45124Hehe, don’t worry, like I said, take your time.
I fixxed this now and set up a single page for it, it’s not the best solution but it’s okay.
Actually, I try to find out, why the “+” of this shortcode won’t slide in and show the pieces of information when the order was done. As far as I remember this was the case but somehow now it does not work. :/16 October, 2019 at 5:23 pm #45136>but somehow now it does not work.
then you probably have some javascript errors somewhere .
have you checked your browser console ? - AuthorPosts
