Hello,
I have added custom ingredients and created custom groups. However, the ingredients are still shown for all products of the same type although I selected only a few.
Custom Ingredients:

http://i.imgur.com/IV0vQHt.jpgIngredients are still shown in the frontend on products that are not supposed to have them (not selected in the custom group):
http://i.imgur.com/R6O0eYS.jpgBesides, it is not called “Beilage”, but just “Zutaten fuer 0,00EUR”. Where are these coming from?
8 February, 2016 at 1:55 pm #15637you seem to have assigned things to the wrong item
http://i.imgur.com/IV0vQHt.jpg -> “assign to the following menu item” is set to “14 chicken doener teller”
http://i.imgur.com/R6O0eYS.jpg -> frontend of “01 doener kebab”
i.e your custom group is assihed to “14 chicken doener teller” . and not to “01 doener kebab”
8 February, 2016 at 2:53 pm #15641The assignment is correcty. I want it to be only shown in item 14. But it is shown on any item in that category. Item 01 Doener is just an example.
That happens to all other custom groups as well.
Here is another example:In the custom group “Geschmack” I assign the ingredients ‘Banane’, Schoko, Erdbeere, vanille ONLY to the item “Banane, Schoko, Erdbeer, Vanillemilch”
However, in the frontend it shows other ingredients as well, which are definately not selected for this item.Backend:

8 February, 2016 at 3:02 pm #15643you misunderstand how this work.
all ingredients you have set under “ingredients” will be applied to ALL menu items in that group/size (provided of course add ingredients is enabled for a particular menu item)
if any of the ingredients are NOT in a custom group, they will be in a default group (i.e labelled something like “ingredients for x.xx”)
you should probably create a “drinks” size to start off with, add all your drinks to that group and then add ingredients (flavours i guess) for your drinks……
alternatively (or additionally, depends on your scenario) you can also set additional “exclude” groups to – well – exclude toppings from specific items
8 February, 2016 at 3:09 pm #15644as in the help/howto described somewhat:
you are creating a “pool” of ingredients associated with each “size group”
if your menu item belongs to that “size group”, all of those toppings belong to that menu item.you can set “custom groups” to manipulate individual groups of those topping .
any topping not in any custom group, will stay in a default groups (unless specifically excluded by an exclude group)8 February, 2016 at 3:31 pm #15645so for example for this item here
http://i.imgur.com/oHITwgI.jpgyou probably want to create an additional “exclude” group and assign “cola, fanta and sprite” there to that same item so those 3 do not appear as selection for your milkshakes
8 February, 2016 at 3:32 pm #15646and thats exactly how I did it.
Again,
I have size group called ‘Alkoholfreie Getraenke’.
I have add ingredients to this group, e.g. Cola, Fanta, Spirit.
As of now, If would create a meal that is assigned to the size group ‘Alkoholfreie Getraenke’. they would have the ingredients Cola, Fanta, Spirit because they are still in the default group.HOWEVER, I did create a custom group. One custom group is called ‘flavour’. In this custom group I select the meal AND the ingredients I want to be shown ONLY for the selected meals. Like in this screenshot:
https://i.imgur.com/BJY9euH.jpgYou state with an important notice:
IMPORTANT: Any Ingredients selected here will be taken out of any “Standard” Groups and must be enabled. But that is exactly what is NOT happening, as can be seen in the screesshots. They are STILL in the Standard Group. That is why they are still shown in all other items, although they are not selected in the custom group.
8 February, 2016 at 3:38 pm #15647Olly, of course I can do that and create for every case an exclude group, but thats very inconvenient and not how it is stated in your own notice:
IMPORTANT: Any Ingredients selected here will be taken out of any “Standard” Groups and must be enabled.Thats what custom groups are four. I assign ingredients to only a selected, custom grooup of items.
8 February, 2016 at 3:51 pm #15648i’m confused. that’s exactly how it is.
looking at the folowing“alkoholfreie getraenke” has the following toppings
banane, cola, erdbeer, fanta, schoko, sprite , vanille
(https://i.imgur.com/BJY9euH.jpg)there you assigned “cola fanta sprite” to a custom group .
they appear in a custom group under “getraenke” here http://i.imgur.com/8kNYJFC.jpgthe “leftovers” (i.e banane, erdbeer etc) appear in the standard group labelled zutaten fuer 0.00)
so the “cola fanta sprite” have been taken out of the standard group – as statedif you do not want to show banane, erdbeer etc there , you have to exclude them in a separate exclusion group
alternatively – and perhaps better – assign/create a wppizza->size for your milkshakes and another one for your other “drinks” and only add banane, erdbeer etc to your milkshakes and the others to the “drinks” (if you do that , you do not have to mess around with exclude groups)
all a matter of how you set it up
not sure what you are seeing i’m not seeing or perhaps missing ?!
8 February, 2016 at 3:56 pm #15649personally – although that’s just my preference – i would create distinct menu items to start off with anyway as opposed to making people click on things several times, just to add some milkshake or fanta
i.e i would have a menu item “cola” another “fanta” another “banana milkshake” etc etc. so the customer just clicks on cola and adds it to the cart without having to jump through hoops…
(i.e just like your “mineralwasser”, “orangensaft” etc)again, just personal preference, it’s entirely up to you of course
8 February, 2016 at 4:01 pm #15650you could even create 3 different “meal sizes” so to speak for your “cola, fanta, sprite” and name them “cola” “fanta” “sprite” (instead of “small” “regular” “large” for example)
that would be even easier
same for your milkshakes – make 4 “sizes” and name them “shoko” “banane” “erdbeere” “vanille”
if you do that , no toppings would be required at all….
