Hello, The cloud Print plugin is working perfect. But I cannot change the layout of the print format in my POS printer. If i print it manually from order history it is printing full page size, but when it prints automatically every time new order comes, it will print just in the middle of the page and almost half of the paper is waste.
i tried to change the css in pizza.template.inc.php but it is not working. I cannot even change the size of simple h1, p tags etc. I searched my whole project to find in which place the order template is generated before sending it to google cloud, but cannot find it. I got stuck in this problem since one week and cannot find a solution. I habe to install the whole thing this Friday. Can you please help me out. May be you can say, in which file i have to change the css. I have linked hier a photo which shows how it looks like when printed manually from order page and how it prints automatically via cloud print.
Thank you for the support.
13 June, 2017 at 8:56 pm #28392i dont know which version of the cloudprint plugin you are using
generally though (with reasonably recent versions)
you select the template you want to use in the plugin and then edit that template accordingly (wppizza->templates)there is no file that needs editing

13 June, 2017 at 9:38 pm #28399The cloud print Version is 4.0.1.
Thank you for the answer. I found it (wppizza->templates) :). The printer is not adding margin if it is printed from Setting/order history. The margin is only added when it sends the template automatically to google cloud print. I saw few of other member here had same problem. May be they got a solution and can help me.13 June, 2017 at 9:45 pm #28401>I saw few of other member here had same problem
true, but i have no idea how they solved it (if at all)
the cloudprint plugin simply sends the template to google cloudprint.
as i said, what the/any printer makes out of it i have no control over sadly17 June, 2017 at 10:23 pm #28479The the printing layout and margin in left and right is printer and operating system specific. I managed to remove the margin at right side, telling google cloud to print in a 80mm printer even though my printer is 58 mm. But the paper is small and it cuts the right part and some informations will be missing there. I want to remove the meta datas like Costumer details, name, Email Address etc so that the important information about the order comes in left side.
In which template should i change the names? I can change the variables to empty strings, but i don’t know exactly where should i change it.
I have attached a image about my current layout below.
Your help would be appreciated Olly 🙂
