Am I missing something? nearly a year ago I setup a meal size for an item of 7.99, added 20 items, then the other day when I changed the meal size price, it saves it under meal size but the items keep the old price? I got back and check meal size, it’s changed, then check the item price again, still the old price. I thought it pulled the prices from the meal size? I think something is going wrong. I haven’t touched anything and I’m the only user on the site. any ideas?
6 February, 2017 at 9:02 pm #25286well, sounds to me you are still using the same version of the plugin(s) (?) and now something does not work all of a sudden .[del by admin, as actually irrelevant to the question]
Safe to say – if the above is true – that I certainly did not change things so your issue would clearly be elsewhere….it “pulls prices” from the prices set for a menu item (“mealsizes” prices are simply defaults for new items – as it says), so changing prices in the “sizes” will will not make any difference whatsoever for existing menu items ….
6 February, 2017 at 9:17 pm #25287I was using the same version. Then, when I noticed the behavior, I updated to the newest versions. Same thing happens. I set up these items because there are many of them and I thought I could just change the price in one place and not have to update all the individual menu items so it could cut down on my time but it seems I have to go through each one anyway.
I did get some different results though: I made a second meal size with a different admin label, updated the prices there and when I switch to it on the menu item, they update properly. Then if I switch it back to the original meal size (which still has the new price listed) they also update properly. odd. I think it just doesn’t like being updated from the meal size area unless you go to the menu item and change what type of meal size it uses from there. there’s nothing to refresh it unless you create a new item or change an existing one to a different meal size item. I’ll have to go through and do this for each item with a price change I think.

what you are describing is (and *always* was) intended6 February, 2017 at 9:23 pm #25289PS: WP quickedit is something that might come in handy for you, i.e you do not have to go into every single item as such, but update from the list of menu items…just saying
