WPPizza – A Restaurant Plugin for WordPress › Support › General Support › More customers – can I copy the existing installation?

Hi Olly,
If I have several new customers…Is it possible to copy the whole system of the existing customer (language settings, templates, etc.) to the new one? Thereafter I would reset the categories and items. So I do not need to do everything again from the beginning. You know what I mean? Is that possible? Thereafter, I just have to refresh the licenses? Thanks.3 January, 2018 at 2:59 pm #34068sorry, but i do not understand what exactly you are trying to do here
users have id’s which are referenced in the wppizza orders table (and pretty much throughout your whole wordpress installation) and have meta information added if necessary
if you also want to delete all categories and items then you are simply adding some users to wordpress (wppizza does not create it’s own userbase but simply uses the users registered in wordpress and allows for registration to those users)
that said, if you just want to move an installation somewhere, there are plenty of cloning plugins that would let you do that
generally speaking though, partially removing or copying things might cause you all sorts of problems as id numbers might change (but it really depends)
(i also don’t really understand what this has to do with licenses of things)

I thought that I can clone the complete system incl. wp pizza plugins (ALL-IN-ONE WP MIGRATION plugin) and then I can change the main data(items, categories) for the new customer ( So I can keep the old configurations with it–>language settings/design of the old customer…), but I think it can cause problems…?
Currently I have to reinstall all plugins for each new customer and translate the texts in German language. It takes a lot of time. Do you understand what I mean ? 🙂
3 January, 2018 at 11:44 pm #34083you can clone and then change things afterwards as you like
that isn’t really a wppizza issue or question though but simply how to administer wordpress sites in generali would say clone away, empty order table (or delete orders one by one) and delete the users as you like, but all at your own risk
