So I could just be panicking but I’m working on a typical pizza site and have installed the ingredient addon and set everything up and it works flawlessly when I preview the page but not when I click through from the navigation menu. The site isn’t live yet so is this normal behavior? I don’t want to push it out until it’s finished but that will be a lot of work to do just to have it not work when it goes live. Thanks!

is it publicly accessible so i can have a look ? (as it sounds kind of odd)
>is this normal behavior?
generally, no, but i’d have to be able to have a look somehow to perhaps shed a light on it15 August, 2016 at 4:34 am #20096sure, it’s http://lwpizzanos.com/ if you click on the “menu” link, it works fine, if you click on any of the categories, it doesn’t work unless it’s in preview.
15 August, 2016 at 1:35 pm #20098your categories do not have any cart on them. if there’s no cart, nothing will happen.
it also look like you (dropdown)menu is listing categories instead of pages.
if that’s the case, you should create the template for your theme (as in option 2)see also

[wppizza category=’pizza’]
[wppizza type=cart]on the pizza page and have tried it on other pages. Works fine in preview, doesn’t work at all on the category page.
Works fine here for some reason: http://lwpizzanos.com/our-menu/
I can make more pages if that’ll fix the problem, I just needed to know if I was somehow missing something vital with the plugins.
15 August, 2016 at 5:10 pm #20102So WordPress is possessed. I added a new page, named it pizza1 and put the same thing in, works just fine. I have no idea so I’m just going to delete the originals and make new ones going forward and I think It’ll be fine.

sounds like a good plan – maybe there was some permalink thing going on somewhere
always worth just re-saving WP->permalinks when there’s really wired stuff happening.
I have seen this solving things occasionally - AuthorPosts
