5 December, 2015 at 8:23 pm #14360referring to this:

and doing a test order.
this behaves as expected. and there are no additional items/ingredients that were not available for selection….
dunno, cannot see anything wrong (your screenshots just do not correspond to what i am getting at your site )
5 December, 2015 at 8:48 pm #14361forgot to say that the shop is open atm and they are receiving the orders. when I test it my self I do not see anything wrong too and they also received lots of orders this week with no problems. its only exactly 4 orders that came with wrong ingredients from different users this week .
5 December, 2015 at 9:55 pm #14364due to lack of evidence really , I can – for now – only assume that the ingredients option was erroneously added to those menu items via a custom group…
not saying that there is not a chance that there might be a bug of course, but as it’s not the case at the moment or indeed reproducable , there isn’t really anything i can do / fix..
5 December, 2015 at 11:18 pm #14365That was my first guess. I thought I messed it up with some custom groups but I found that everything was okay. My second guess was that I thought that a clever user used the Instructions box ( comment box ) to add some more ingredients as the works comment does not show up in the html version but after I checked the order history I found those ingredients above the comment word so that was not the case too .
Anyway I will keep you updated if I received any of those orders again .6 December, 2015 at 2:18 pm #14372Hi Olly , I will forward you one order I received last night which has wrong ingredients.I have been doing some test orders this morning and I found out that when using Microsoft Edge only the items appear in the cart and the order page is fine but once you press send order you find wrong ingredients in the confirmation page and also in the email .
I’ve also tried chrome and internet explorer and everything was fine .6 December, 2015 at 2:24 pm #14373i dont think this has anything to do with whatever browser you are using.
am i right in thinking this only happens for menu items that ONLY have the textbox enabled, and no other actual ingredients ?
i still cant reproduce this (yet), but the orders you sent me seem to suggest that…
6 December, 2015 at 2:33 pm #14374i dont think this has anything to do with whatever browser you are using.
I got only wrong ingredients when I used Edge not chrome , worried but that what happens .
am i right in thinking this only happens for menu items that ONLY have the textbox enabled, and no other actual ingredients ?
No it did happen once i got wrong ingredients instead of the required actual ingredients .i still cant reproduce this (yet), but the orders you sent me seem to suggest that…
If you have time now you can make test order yourself but please try Edge .
6 December, 2015 at 3:02 pm #14375i cam assure you , this has nothing to do with whatever browser you are using.
this is either a session or a cache issueare you caching things on that server ?
6 December, 2015 at 9:00 pm #14376are you caching things on that server ? do not think so
Will it help if I used any of those clear caching plugin ?am i right in thinking this only happens for menu items that ONLY have the textbox enabled, and no other actual ingredients ?
Did some more tests and I think you are right about that one, it dose not happen though when there is nothing in the comment test box but once you write anything the comment comes with ingredients from another item .6 December, 2015 at 9:17 pm #14378i can assure you , this has nothing to do with whatever browser you are using.
You are right about that one too, it happens with whatever browser .7 December, 2015 at 1:06 am #14379can you give me a step by step walkthrough – on your site – where this is reproducable ?
i.e somthing like:
a) add item a to cart with ingrediants a,b,c
b) add item b to cart with comment only (or leave empty) , add to cart
c) ..etcwhich then in turn adds shows these unwanted ingredients…..
– I hope you understand what I am after here(make this a private reply if you want)
i need to be able to reproduce this to try and fix itPS: you might actually be using a cache plugin as i can see ” in your source, which is a cache plugin (W3 total cache))
please also try reproducing this behaviour with this plugin off
(that said, maybe it’s a hardcoded thing in your theme templates footer without it actually doing anything..dunno. worthe checking)

i can reproduce this now. (that’s a good thing)I’ll have to check of course, but I believe this is not actually a session or cache issue after all, but a filter issue when using the drag and drop templates for sending emails (or printing them for that matter)
i will have to find out if that’s actually a problem with the main plugin or the add ingredients extension
in the meantime , i can only suggest to turn off the text comment fields for menu items that do not have any active ingredients associated with them
alternatively – worth a try actually and let me know if you do if this actually solves the issue – use the default template instead of the drag and drop one….
