Hi Olly,
I have choosen to show all items on my page. It looks great on both desktop and mobile.
Now to the issuses:
On a mobile phone the screen is much smaller, so it takes quiet lot of scrolling to get to the bottom to see your cart. Would it be possible to add a “go to cart button” once you have selected an item?Once the customer chooses COD and enters the info and press next it goes to the next page where i have T&C required button. On that page it will show the “buy now” button. Once you press it, it will scroll back up to the top of the page to remind you that you have to accept the T&C. Then you tick the box and scroll back down to the “buy now” button. After pressing the “buy now” button you will then be send to the very last “thank you” page. Issuse here is that the page shows the bottom half instead of scrolling back to the top so you can see the thank you page. So you actually dont know that the order has been completed..
Wow i really hope you understand it all đ

i’ll see what i can do in an update on that front4 March, 2015 at 6:13 pm #8245That would actually be a brilliant feature.
10 March, 2015 at 1:24 pm #8302FYI: as of 2.11.8
a)order, confirmation and thank you page should now scroll pretty much as described/requested above
b) re: Would it be possible to add a âgo to cart buttonâ once you have selected an item?
kind of decided against this particular thing, but have added the option to show a “minicart” so to speak at the top of the page , if the main cart is not in view which – at least I believe – is somewhat better.go to the cart-widget and enable there or if using shortcode add attribute minicart=1
any problems or issues with this, let me know of course
11 March, 2015 at 10:36 am #8321Hi Olly. I have enabled this however cart shows at top even when the main cart is visible. I have the cart set on a sidebar could this be causing an issue?
11 March, 2015 at 10:41 am #8322link please.
11 March, 2015 at 11:10 am #8323I am using a sticky cart actually which is probably causing the problem… Is there anyway I can just enable it the mini-cart when the site is being viewed on a mobile rather than a desktop?
11 March, 2015 at 11:28 am #8324> I am using a sticky cart actually which is probably causing the problem
partially. i’ll see what i can do (then again, i know about that hence it says you probably do not want to use it in conjunction with the sticky cart…either way, maybe i can do both)but on your site it also shows on load when first going to the page (which is wrong, i’ll fix that if i can)
>Is there anyway I can just enable it the mini-cart when the site is being viewed on a mobile rather than a desktop?
in theory, if you set some media queries in your css, sure. but it’s not something i can do as I do not know how each website behaves and when or under what circumstances it decides to display the mobile view (or indeed if there even is one).
usually, responsive websites move things around . i.e in a mobile view the sidebar – which typically has the cart – moves to the bottom of the page and out of view, in which case that always visible cart shows up until you scroll to the bottom.
i can’t see you using the sticky cart btw but your theme however seems to keep the whole sidebar in place . i’ll see if i can account for that
11 March, 2015 at 11:33 am #8325I am not using the sticky cart option via the option set in your widget I am using it Q2W3 Fixed Widget. I will disable it for now until further developments thanks you.
11 March, 2015 at 11:34 am #8326thinking out loud for a sec. i might be able to give people a max-width option up to what width of the site the thing shows up, so they can set this according to at what width their particular site turns into a mobile view…i’ll have a think

probably a good idea. the feedback and being able to look at it in different scenarios helps though.
most should not be too difficult to fix now i know what might go wrong so to speak11 March, 2015 at 11:41 am #8329thinking out loud for a sec. i might be able to give people a max-width option up to what width of the site the thing shows up, so they can set this according to at what width their particular site turns into a mobile viewâŠiâll have a think
This would be ideal.
12 March, 2015 at 12:48 am #8342try wppizza 2.11.8.1
has a couple of fixes plus
a max-width option in wppizza->layout->small cartfeedback welcome of course
12 March, 2015 at 9:58 am #8348Thanks for implementing the changes and on the coupon codes Olly much appreciated as usual fantastic job.
13 March, 2015 at 8:43 pm #8407Hi Olly just some feedback about the minicart on mobile devices. I think 2 further options would be good.
1, Have a setting to allow the mini-cart to be either displayed on top or bottom (if you go to my website on a mobile you will see it interferes with my themes menu therefore i’d have it on the bottom).
2, Have a button on there to ‘View Cart’ as soon as an item is added. Reason this would be useful is because a customer cannot checkout for collection unless they go over our minimum delivery amount (but we allow any amount for collection even if it is one item). This may tie into this thread also because if the collection option was available on the popup screen then the mini-cart would be working fine – https://www.wp-pizza.com/topic/a-page-dedicated-to-deside-deliverycollection/
18 March, 2015 at 7:00 pm #8512as of 2.11.8.5
>Have a setting to allow the mini-cart to be either displayed on top or bottom
sorry, i just hate it at the bottom.
however, you can set/add a padding to the top of your body (in wppizza->layout->minicart) if it’s displayed so your navigation should move accordingly – if you really want it at the bottom, you could change the css to be top:initial, bottom:20px (or something similar)>Have a button on there to âView Cartâ
now optionally enabalable (is that a word ?)19 March, 2015 at 12:11 pm #8523Brilliant work Olly. I have enabled it on my website as you can see it looks pretty good!
