Sorry if I have missed this anywhere but a feature to set X number on a product and then auto set it to unavailable once the count get to zero. So I could set it up with the number of each type of burger available at the start of the night and not have to worry about orders being taken for items that we have run out of.

29 April, 2020 at 1:28 am #48312just to respond to this:
there is no stockmanagement in wppizza (i.e the plugin expects you to have in stock what you are selling, though you could simply change a “menu item” / product to draft when your’re out of course)that said, as this request has cropped up a few times over the years (not continuously but every now and again) I am planning to look at that at some point when time allows. however, i think this will be quite a while yet – if ever – before i even get a chance to look at this to be honest.
so for the time being i think i’ll have to say “sorry to have to disappoint, this doesn’t exist” (not as an option i can offer anyway – though maybe someone else has made this available, but i don’t know myself of any such implementation)3 May, 2020 at 10:59 am #48434This would be quite a useful extension!

12 May, 2020 at 6:26 pm #48796Brilliant, thanks so much. Just installed. Can’t see where to find the localization settings and also have stock levels enabled but it isn’t showing up on the front end of the site. I’ll continue to have a play about.
Thanks again !

12 May, 2020 at 6:45 pm #48798Ok, sussed this out. As all our menu items are “regualr” we removed the size tab on each menu item, so it looks like this https://prnt.sc/sfi9e2 Ill get our dev to put back the “regular” label : )
The ability to enable stock management on certain items rather than them all would be amazing.
Cheers

dont think this is going to happen anytime soon (if at all)
it’s quite binary: you use it , or you don’t(but you can of course just set a silly high number for the items you never want to run out)
12 May, 2020 at 7:04 pm #48800or conversely – whatever is easiest – set everything to 10000000 or something and then individually set the once you want to have lower stock levels.
either will workmaybe one day i allow for “-1” or something to mark things as “always in stock”, but that’s not happening anytime soon as stated
