Stripe issue

      Hi Olly

      Today I had a big issue with swipe gateway.

      I ditnt know what the customer dit exactly but I got the order
      and it was written Paid by `Card, Stripe and so on’
      but I didn’t get the stripe payment.

      I had the customer on the phone and he told me I went back on his browser and the time of the payment.

      The difference with a other stripe’s order was the number:
      This one was STRIPE148460……
      and the other with the payment ok was
      ch_19chWuJ3qfXJm4VTo…….

      Its a big trouble, because if the customer didn’t pay but we get the order as payed ,
      we won’t check every orders on stripe account at this time to be sure that is ok…

        i cannot tell you. you will only get the “ok” from stripe if the card has actually been charged.
        going back in your browser does not change that fact (as the order number etc changes)

        i am not sure i understand your issue exactly though. you are saying
        “and the other with the payment ok was ch_xxxx.” so to me this looks like it was paid as it should have been…

        if however you are saying the payment does NOT appear in your STRIPE account itself, you should ask them to investigate. (only you and they will have access to those details)

          Actually the order has been sent but the customer didn’t enter his card number.
          We got the order with the Status Payment by: ” Paid by card “.

          Actually he never paid and never entered his card details.

          In the History Manager the order was like any other order paid by card with only a small difference about the Stripe Number.

          So it never happened again it was just to warn you about this trouble.

            again, i cannot see how. stripe – unless they had an issue , but that’s unlikely – would never authorize a payment without card details…
