Hi Olly,
My multisite doesn’t show, that there is an update for the WPPizza Add Ingredients plugin available.
Also I don’t want to loose all my entries by deleting and re-installing the new version.
I do have the license number entered in the specific sites where I use it. the plugin is NOT network activated. What is the best way to do the update?
Thanks
Kind regards
Regine
9 February, 2015 at 11:05 am #7652might take a day or two to show up.
sometimes you can speed things up by de-activating and re-activating (on any of your sites in the network)PS: if you update on any site in the network, it will update all of them
9 February, 2015 at 11:57 am #7654Thanks Olly,
Just tried deactivating and re-activating but no luck.
Will give it another day or two.
Thanks
Regine9 February, 2015 at 12:19 pm #7656did you go to network admin->updates ? (it will only show up there)
9 February, 2015 at 12:58 pm #7659Hi Olly,
yes, it’s not shown anywhere, i tried all sites and network admin. I also tried to deactivate the license and re-activate on one of the sites.
According to my Network admin I am fully up to date with all plugins.
Do you want a login to have a look?
Thanks

not really. just wait a day or two.
if it doesn’t show up then, let me know9 February, 2015 at 1:42 pm #7662or login to your account and go to https://www.wp-pizza.com/checkout/purchase-history
where you (probably, haven’t checked actually) can download the updated version by clicking on a link12 February, 2015 at 1:32 pm #7803Hi Olly,
I thought I had responded, but can’t find it anywhere.
Anyway, the update hasn’t shown in any of the sites nor in the network admin, also tried deactivating and re-activating, but no luck. Seems to be a multisite issue.Does that mean I have to use the FTP upload?
Thanks
Kind regardsRegine

not necessarily (depends on server setup)
you might be able to just go to plugins->upload(i would advise to first de-activate – NOT UNINSTALL – the plugin, upload, then re-ctivate
>Seems to be a multisite issue
dont think so, its a server issue but havent yet found the answer why it only works on about 80% of them (it’s a third party plugin integrated into the extensions/gateways that deals with licenses and update , will have to investigate a bit more there)12 February, 2015 at 1:47 pm #7807Unfortunately not working:
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. /home/users/elmexicano/sites/www.elmexicano.net.au/wp-content/plugins/wppizza-add-ingredients/
Plugin install failed. So back to FTP?
Happy to provide you with a login, if it might help you solve the problem.
Thanks
Regine

yes i’m afraid (as your server doesnt let you overwrite things the way it’s setup>Happy to provide you with a login, if it might help you solve the problem.
might be worth having a look, (wont help your ftp/update problems – you will have to overwrite files manually – but might shed some light on the updates not showing)12 February, 2015 at 2:21 pm #7809This reply has been marked as private.12 February, 2015 at 2:24 pm #7810This reply has been marked as private.12 February, 2015 at 2:31 pm #7812This reply has been marked as private.12 February, 2015 at 2:46 pm #7813This reply has been marked as private.13 February, 2015 at 12:37 pm #7833This reply has been marked as private.1 June, 2015 at 1:50 pm #10349Hi Olly,
Just coming back to this and wondering if you had a look into this. The login listed above is still working.
I forgot about the update not showing and just noted, when I looked into the current version available that I need to update.
Would be great if this could be solved.
Thanking you in advance.
kind regards

8 June, 2015 at 11:48 pm #10492not ignoring you, just busy.
definitely on my list of things to attend to18 June, 2015 at 11:29 pm #10706there is now version 4.9.2 which should (hopefully) improve the licence handling
(you might of course have to download this one manually from your purchase history first if your current version does not make the update show up)
29 June, 2015 at 1:37 pm #10867Hi Olly,
Thanks for the update. I have installed this version via FTP and I guess I just have to wait until the next update to see if it works.
Will let you know.
Thanks again.
Kind regards
Regine
