      I have created a web service for wp-pizza. When an order is made through online it will be printed on A4, A5 and Order page in 80mm. At the same time, computer will give alert when order is received from internet. This system can show up to 50 orders that was made to the user as a report.

      Any sort of printer or writer can be used. This would provide efficient service and quicker responses. Additionally, it will attract more customers due to quick and easy service.

      If you would like to add this extension service to your website, I would be happy to discuss it further.

        Hi

        generally speaking, I am all for people extending and adding to the plugin in some way that may be useful to other people.

        I must admit though, I do not entirely understand what the above does that is so very different to what there is already available/integrated (or indeed where the advantages would be using your service).

        in no particular order, the bits i do not understand are as follows:

        >printed on A4, A5 and Order page in 80mm
        using cloudprinting for example this is already possible quite easily without having to use another service.
        i.e add your printers to the cloudprint pool of printers and it will print.

        > At the same time, computer will give alert when order is received from internet
        again, there is already a codesnippet that – easily – allows this to happen

        > This system can show up to 50 orders that was made to the user as a report.
        the reports section already allows to export / view orders

        generally: is this a service that runs of some 3rd party website or is this a separate wordpress plugin that would have to be installed ?

        Again, I am probably misunderstanding something entirely, so of course, please feel free to expand and/or let me know what I am missing

          I would be interested in this sertacekici if you could send it to me? I am having a few issues with the current order page simply because:

          1, Not all people are good with computers – my previous online order system was pretty simple it made an alert noise and all the staff had to do was press 1 button print and then the order was done – currently my staff (depending on who) find it a bit more difficult having to change the order status and setup the print (you have to choose 2 chits every time for example and sometime settings may change if someone has printed a document before on the same pc say a a4 word file so they have to setup the margins etc etc and can be troublesome when we’re busy with people who have little computer experience).

          2, Sometimes the server doesn’t always allow the order to poll (and i’m not willing to pay for really expensive hosting when I may as-well pay for another company to make the online ordering website) – therefore it causes a popup error that is silent and the page needs refreshing but my staff are unaware when this happens as there is no alarm sound when it doesn’t poll. I have spoken to my previous website supplier and he said his software (that we previously used) would ignore 3-4 non polls and on the 5th sound an alarm to which we no it’s no longer polling and we would attend to this error – if you could implement something similar it would be perfect.

            i shall not get involved in the rest here, but – surely – the answer to any errors is not to ignore them, but to find out what is causing it and fix it ….

            i KNOW there are other plugins that – for no reason at all – think they need to pollute every page in the admin and cause errors without end which in turn will stop any other script from running….

            check your console when it occurs – ctr+shift+i -> console on chrome , something similar on other browsers

              These problems are intermittent so I don’t think they’re related to any other plugins and I only use mainstream popular plugins nothing out of the ordinary. For example this week it has only happened on 2 occasions. I simply think it is because the polling didn’t sent the information through correctly for whatever reason – most likely the server.

                Right the error just happened again and I got this error message:

                Failed to load resource
                https://www.rednaga.co.uk/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php Failed to load resource: net::ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

                So it is something to do with the SSL?
