Which printer do everyone use?

      Hi,

      The Google Cloud printer I am currently using has some problem every time it restarts. It won’t print orders no more. I did some google research, people are saying that the printer is assigned a dynamic ip by the router every time it restarts. And that’s why I would need to set up this printer again on my google account to make it work again, which is very annoying. This issue is caused by how the manufacture implement their google cloud print chip, and it’s not because of the wppizza plug in.

      Just wondering, do you guys face the same issue? And what printers are you guys using?

      Mine is Brother 2700DW. I heard all brother printers are like this, so I am looking to switch my printer to another brand.

        I use three printers:EPSON TM-T20II SERIES never had a problem.

            Looks like your printer is not a Google cloud-ready printer. So I guess you use it along with a computer?

              Exact.
              I use a mini pc with windows 10 always on, dedicated only to printing orders but you can use any pc.
              (I chose this option to have remote control of the PC without interfering and above all because not connected to keyboards, mouse and screens, no one can make changes)
              Connect a different printer from the cloud printers
              Important: You will need a PC or Mac computer to set up a printer of this type. You can not use a Chromebook.

              On your PC or Mac computer, look for the system settings, then the print section.
              Add the printer to your computer. If you need help, visit the Mac or Windows support site.
              Open Chrome Chrome.
              Type chrome: // devices and press ENTER.
              Click Add Printers in the “Classic Printers” section.
              Select the printer you want to share in the “Printers to register” section, then click Add Printers.
