I am having an issue with wp-pizza plugin when placing an order.
It is possible to add products to the shopping cart and they are remembered between pages but when the button “Place Order” is pressed you go to the orders page and it displays “Your cart is empty”. But if you then return to the categories your shopping cart is still containing the correct items.
      What would be the issue?

I am using WordPress 4.8.1 with the WP-pizza 3.0.19 plugin. It is a new WordPress site with only 1 plugin active (wp-pizza).
The setting “WPPizza -> Settings -> “I am using a caching plugin” is also checked (even tough I don’t use a caching plugin).

Also note that WordPress was installed on a dedicated Windows server with Web Platform Installer

            Hi Olly,

            Thanks for your reply!
            The site URL is http://bakkerijcorthoutswouters.be/.

I already disabled the output cache setting from IIS but this did not work.

must admit, this does look somewhat strange
any chance of getting admin access to have a look ? (if you add them here , make sure you set it to be a private reply)

also, have you tried changing the theme to something like twentysixteen (not likely to be the cause i admit, but worth eliminating the possibility it’s theme related)

you have mysql 5.1 installed from what i can see
it should be at least 5.5
                  see requirements https://wordpress.org/plugins/wppizza/

(cannot be 100% sure that’s the issue , but even if it is not, it *will* cause issues further down the line)

once you have updated mysql , go to
                  yourdomain / wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wppizza&page=tools&tab=maintenance
enable “Update order table” and save that page once

kind of surprised it even let you install the plugin without throwing warnings all over the place –
unless you just copied the whole setup from somewhere of course (?!)

                      >cannot be 100% sure that’s the issue
                      strike that actually.
I am quite certain that that’s the issue as you are missing a db table due to using an old mysql version

Just finished installing a new version of mysql (5.7) and reinstalling WordPress and wp-pizza.
                        Everything is working now!

As I used the Web Platform Installer I had no influence on versions of PHP and MySQL

Thank you for your quick help!!
