You need screenshots and pictures as well as text.15 February, 2017 at 9:30 pm in reply to: Google cloud print, chages to font size are not transferring to printer #25546Not obvious at all, you need some screenshots your documentation, may be via word doc
I had no idea I was supposed to go on that page as well and there was a drop-down menu
15 February, 2017 at 9:28 pm in reply to: Google cloud print, chages to font size are not transferring to printer #25544>Can you please go to the backend again and confirm
what do you want me to confirm ?
in your cloudprint settings it says“template id” = [some template] select one of the print templates you would like to use
just choose the one you want to use……I see what you mean now, you really need to update your documentation, nothing in the documentation for this told me to go to the WPPizza – Google Cloudprint : Settings “page” dropdown menu for Template ID
Please update your documentation when you sell this plug-in to make this much more clear

15 February, 2017 at 9:17 pm in reply to: Google cloud print, chages to font size are not transferring to printer #25536Got your email, and I understand, but we change the code on the default template. Anyways I created a new template, and used the changed code on the default template, which shows huge lettering when you click on the eye icon.
I am now going to send in order to the owner and asked her to send me back a screenshot of the new order.

15 February, 2017 at 8:31 pm in reply to: Google cloud print, chages to font size are not transferring to printer #25521Hi Olly, Thank you for your reply
so to clarify
“the cold were using works if you use it on windows as far as if you printed the code from a notepad file”.“the code were using works if you use it on windows as far as if you printed the code from a notepad file”.
So in the backend of the interface we edited the HTML code, and the printout to the printer should be printing out with fonts that are much bigger in size
here is a screenshot of what it should be printing out. After we click on the “Eye” icon on the template tab in the backend of the word press site, under wp-pizzahttps://www.screencast.com/t/9XwbX1acXg
but instead it’s printing out with this instead

No matter what we do it doesn’t let the changes that we do on the backend of the website as far and font size changesgo to the printer to print out properly, Google cloud print is stripping away the changes before they get to the printer.
You guys developed the plug-in for Google cloud print, I need some help and a fix to figure out how to get the font sizes bigger. We even duplicated the code where the font sizes are bigger for the rest of the printout, and still, it didn’t work.
Please Help
Would you mind putting the make and model of the printer that you are using for the printing I’m about to buy one for my client who is a Chinese food restaurant and still am up in the air about what would be the best thermal printer make and model to purchase.
Obviously need to use Google cloud print for the online orders but also they want me to be able to hook up the current POS system which uses an ethernet cable to go to the printer.
So if anyone has any information on what would be the best make and model of thermal printer to purchase and if they purchased online from what which website that will be very helpful thank you - AuthorPosts
