Okay,
I was able to reproduce the error on the iPhone (Safari Browser).
What did I do? I put three different items to the cart very fast (just touching the “price” quickly). For each item, the price was replaced with the symbol ✓ – therefor I would assume that the item was passed to the cart. However only to of the three items made it to the cart.
I will do more research…Hi Olly,
thanks for the reply. The problem appears independently from a caching plugin. It appeared in the past (without caching) and appears now that we have installed a caching plugin (the order page was excluded from the beginning of caching).
I will try to reproduce the error and come back to you.
Thanks so far.Hi Olly, I did as you described but the result is the same.
In the meanwhile, I got everything on a separate staging site. Maybe we can solve the issue there. I will send you info via mail.Well, I switched to the Standard Theme “Twenty Twenty-One” and deactivated all other plugins.
I don’t get an php-session-error any more, however the delivery address is still missing. So I can proof that the “Cannot start sessions” error is a different error…
How do we proceed? I think we shouldn’t concentrate on the php error (e.g.: the error is thrown as soon as I activate Woocommerce for example)
By the way: If I check the database, I can see the delivery address for all orders executed via Paypal. So it seems to be only a display issue in the order history view…
Hi Olly,
thanks so far. I changed wp-config and I get the following errors in the log-file:[08-Feb-2021 15:37:55 UTC] PHP Warning: session_start(): Cannot start session when headers already sent in /xxx/xxxx/wp-content/plugins/wppizza/classes/class.wppizza.sessions.php on line 1061

I sent you a link to download duplicator files.
Hi Olly,
today, I can see the additional field in the customer details. I am quite sure that it wasn’t there yesterday. Strange.
However – even if i check this field as described above, the field is missing in email and print order templates. Thanks for the reply. I can check this on monday.
But as far as I understand, the zipcode field within “order forms” has nothing to do with the address-field that is used by the Google-Maps-Option of ” Delivery By Postcode”.
In other words: I can’t see a field in the templates-section that corresponds to the field we use for the delivery address in the frontend:
[maps] - label address input
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Olly, now I was able to test both payment methods (cash & paypal) with the Paypal-Gateway activated.
Cash: everything works fine
Paypal: delivery address is missing in mails and backend, but it can be seen in the customers success-page after beeing redirected from paypal to our domain.Hi Olly, our settings are as follows (I assume this is normal redirect):
Sandbox? (N) Paypal Checkout? (N) Enable Refunds? (N)
We experienced this problem when Paypal-Gateway was activated and Paypal choosen as payment method. But we didn’t test if the problem also occurs with Paypal-Gateway activated and “Cash on delivery” as payment method. Would this be of interest?
Hmm, very strange – fields are disappearing everywhere 🙂
Yes, I have enabled this field:
Display Location on Orderform: [before "Telefonnummer :" formfield] [x] Apply above position to all print/email templates. Disable to set position/display on a per email/print template basis
Okay, I didn’t hear from you and we are going to open the shop again so we have to deactivate the paypal-gateway again. Maybe we can talk next monday (weekly day of rest).
This is how the order looks like in the backend (successfully paid via paypal). The delivery address is missing:

Thanks for the quick reply. I was referring to the following point for setting up the notification URL in the Paypal-Account:
WPPizza: http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/plugins/wppizza-gateway-paypal/ipn/ipn.php
WooCommerce: https://example.com/?wc-api=WC_Gateway_Paypal (see https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/paypal-standard/#paypal-ipn-url)I don’t understand how this will work together…
