I was able to figure this out, but where does one customize the subject line for guest email receipts?
I see the declaration in the source code but the URL is removed. I have no idea why.
I looked back and for V2 I customized the customer email directly in the wppizza-order-email-html.php file. Is that file available? It doesn’t seem like I can add the Background URL declaration in the css/style section of Templates.I bought the extension assuming that Olly might have built in a solution for our specific need. In the wealth of options under Custom Groups there is a control that sets the first ingredient to free — which was a perfect workaround solution for us.
Now to customizing and then adding the inventory extension…Sorry I just meant the cart icons.
It does seem like the Add Ingredients extension should do the trick.I do have one concern based on how we’ll be using the extension.
I’ll use bottles of soda as an example. The Menu item might be “Soda bottle, various flavors, $3.”
Once this Menu item is clicked, the Add Ingredients options display with the various soda flavors. Only then (once specific flavor and quantities are added and the Add to Cart button is clicked) should the $3 price (or multiple thereof) get tabulated. So essentially the price of the underlying Menu Item should be zero (even though it would read as $3 on the main Menu page)
Or is there a more straightforward way of doing this?Ok I got it. I just wasn’t sure how to construct the string. The element ID is “minicart” and “#minicart” is what I needed to add in the Append to Element box (WPP>Layout)
Sorry Olly– where do I enable?
I’m not sure where exactly to enable it, but “Always show minicart” is checked in WPP > Layout.
Also, the minicart was always showing before I updated the plugin. Not sure if that is related. Thanks guys. I was working on customizing the mini cart. I did a series of updates to various basic plugins, as well as WP, and now I cannot get the mini cart to show up at all. Can anyone offer insight?

Many thanks!Excellent, Olly. Looking forward to giving it a whirl!
This reply has been marked as private. Many thanks Olly… I forwarded that to my host and they fixed it.
Thanks for adding this functionality. It’s great.
Regarding the email template, what I’m looking to do specifically is to add a custom jpg header and change some colors. In V2, I copied/customized this file:
http://colorsstudios.com/wp-content/themes/x-child/wppizza-order-email-html.phpThanks for the other info. I hit the drawing board on those.
Hi Olly,
We tried changing the priority level of the style we already have (FYI, we place a “9999” in the string) and it broke a lot of the customizations on other parts of the site.
The theme support people said this:
That means the styles does not compatible with each other. If you only need the spinner, you may copy the spinner css to place in our theme instead. You may ask the plugin author to provide you that code, and then, place it at the “theme option > general > page style > additional css” area for this.
Let me know if this is possible Olly. If not, I’ll have to roll without the spinner for a while — probably not the end of the world.
Thanks! I truly appreciate it!
I don’t need to customize the style the spinner — using one of the choices from the drop down will suffice. In fact, there are several I like.
My only objective is to NOT have it affect my date pickers– which is uniquely styled to fit the rest of the site (being that we are a hotel the date pickers are quite prominent.)
So accomplishing that will be a easy process as you mentioned above?
Hey Olly-
I want to put this issue to bed with this.
My programmer acknowledges your point, but says styling the spinner will be a “very complicated” process and about 2000 lines of code.
Is he correct or should I look for someone else to do this? For the record, this makes perfect sense to me. I don’t know why my guy (who’s typically savvy) is totally caught up. He’s convinced a fresh instance of themeroller needs to be installed.
Can you point me to example spinner CSS?
What my programmer is saying (and oh course he can be wrong) is that switching the option off only disables the style and not the JS. So (as a result) adding another instance to style the spinner (only) will be complicated code wise.
Is he thinking about this wrongly?
Hi Olly–
Would you consider an option that will deploy the spinner only on WPP pages?
That way those who disagree can toggle it that way. - AuthorPosts
