as you might have noticed, there is actually a simple sum up now. hope that helps
essentially, you have to ask the theme developers (which will tell you “we dont know, we cannot test our them with every plugin”) or you can ask me , who will tell you “I have no idea, there’re are 1000’s of themes “(and most certainly I am not going to spend money on themes to find out if they work. I did that in the past – never again)

i know. has been on a list of things/ideas to do for a while, but i never get the chance …one day , but no promises or ETA I’m afraid
and it would not be just simple “sum up” but a whole of: what was ordered when , how often, by whom, in what – user selectable – timeframe etc etc . there are many permutations
so I’m sure you can see it’s not that simple and needs a bit of thinking about

i wasn’t actually gonna do this any time soon, but as i was dealing with a bunch of other things, i did add the custom group id (if any) to every ingredients item in the extend data. do with that as you will
so you are signing up with the wordpress site/s.

i’m all for ideas.
as it happens – if and when i get round to doing something like this – it would end up in the main/free plugin anywaywith regards to charges: one mans incidental is another ones necessity….
even if i were to charge 3 figure sums for any of the other add-ons it would still be cheaper for someone to buy them than asking (and paying someone) to code them…..
the reason why they are as cheap as they are (for the moment anyway) is because i can resell them multiple times of course. In turn that of course means it makes not much sense for me to spend days coding stuff if noone needs it / wants it / is prepared to pay for it ….
except, that this isn’t really that simple as you make it out to be i’m afraid

Sure, everything is possible to make (well, almost everything anyway).
However, as we are pretty much talking about an add-on that is only useful to a very limited number of people , the question is: would you be prepared to pay for the development costs of this ?
To explain: all other add-ons available recoup their costs (they don’t actually given the time spent on them, but at least they recoup parts) by being able to sell them more than once over time. The one you are talking about I cannot see myself being able to re-sell more than a couple of times (if that).
Therefore, if you really want/need this you would have to fund the whole dev costs yourself. Of course, I’m able to do that (after all, customization and general programming – wppizza or other – is where my income is coming from) but you might not like the cost of it.

if you are asking if this is possible/integrated in the wppizza plugin, then the answer is no .
However, I have done something that allows you to do that but it’s not yet available as i need to do some more testing for a few days (and find some time to do this testing)Is it possible to set a limited amount of extra ingredients, so that customers cannot choose more than 5 ingredients
assuming you are talking about maximum 5 of (let’s say) 10 available, then yes .
obviously , if you are talking about you only want 5 available to choose from, then you just offer those 5 ingredients)drop-down menu…
no, as you will run into serious usability issues. However:
a) you can edit/amend the css to have – for example – 4 ingredients per row as opposed to the default 3 (whether that looks any good depends on your theme though)
b) you can easily write some javascript that only ever shows parts of the ingredients or set the height of the div that contains the ingredients and make it scrollable or whatever else you can think of
not at the moment , sorry. I’ll have a think, i can somewhat see the benefit but it may just end up causing a MAJOR headache to do. not sure at the moment
